Taynuilt Cottage in Toward
An idyllic and peaceful location with wonderful views, this 3 bedroom cottage is comfortable and cosy. Taynuilt cottage is known locally as the cottages which housed the men who built the lighthouse back in 1812, by Robert Louis Stevenson’s grandfather.
Our cottage has been tastefully decorated yet keeps its original charm. There is one double bedroom and two twin rooms, and they all have views looking out to sea. A bright dining kitchen with a little sun porch attached and two comfortable rooms where you can watch TV in front of a coal fire.
There are many lovely walks from the cottage where you can take in the beautiful scenery, or just sit in the very large garden and watch the boats sail by.
Only 10 minutes from Dunoon and less than an hour to many other scenic areas with plenty walking trails. Many activities including boat hire, golf, cycling, horse riding and quad biking.
