Seatree create art inspired by light, landscapes and life, combining ceramics with driftwood and poetry.

Seatree Pottery

Chris and Michaela work together in their garden studio in South Cowal. Chris writes beautiful and moving poetry and Michaela inscribes it into the clay. It is a lovely process and brings something else out in both the poetry and the clay. They also make clocks and ceramic shoals with colours inspired by the beautiful surroundings.

Their studio is open by arrangement and will also be open during the South Cowal Community Festival, Artmap Argyll and Cowal Open Studios.

Michaela runs pottery workshops all through the year – check out the workshops information on the website for regular classes or to arrange a workshop while you are in the area.

Seatree’s work is available online and at galleries and shops across Scotland and in England – including Blairmore Gallery, Tighnabruaich Gallery and the Tree Shop. Commissions can be taken. You can also follow Michaela’s musings on all things ceramic on the seatree website.
