Sea Drift Pottery Studio

Sea Drift Pottery opened at the Holy Loch Marina in autumn 2016. It has become my creative home and a great working space both for me and for those who attend workshops. From here I produce my range of functional and decorative ceramics, made to be used and loved everyday. I welcome visitors to come in while I work and there is a range of pottery on sale to browse.

The pottery studio looks up the loch to the hills and the ever changing sky, so I’m not short on inspiration! I love the variety of landscape that Argyll offers. The textures on my work can reflect the hills, glazes often use the colours experienced on island beaches or the sea and I use wild flowers found while walking locally to press into the clay for decoration. However my work, like the weather is ever changing and I keep moving on to new ideas.

Join in on one of the monthly workshops

I hold monthly ceramic project workshops in the studio throughout the year. No experience is necessary, just come along to enjoy some creative time with friends. It can be messy at times but it’s fun too. Prices start at £20 per person. You can find further information on what is coming up: WORKSHOP DATES

Or for those wet holiday days in Cowal, a workshop with family and friends is a fun experience that you will all remember. These workshops for 2-8 people can be arranged to fit with your group and if there is something particular you’d like to try out or make together then get in touch so we can discuss it.
